The ELSA Artisanal Weekend returned on 28 February and 1 March 2026 at Bikaner House, bringing together alumni, entrepreneurs, artisans, and visitors for a vibrant celebration of creativity, community, and women-led enterprise.
The two-day bazaar featured a curated selection of brands founded and run by LSR alumni and student organisations, offering everything from handcrafted textiles and jewellery to home decor, artisanal foods, and lifestyle products.
Alongside the shopping, visitors enjoyed a thoughtfully curated cultural programme. Highlights included an Odissi performance by Baisali Mohanty, founder of the Centre for Peace and Performing Arts; Taal Tarang, presented by LSR students Tilottama Bhattacharya, Sakshi, and Mriduparna; a musical performance by multidisciplinary artist Mehr; a youth showcase by students of Srijanatmak Manushi Sanstha on the theme of consent; and Mystic Melodies by Manzil Mystics, a moving musical presentation inspired by the timeless poetry of Kabir and other mystic saints.
The event provided a valuable platform for women entrepreneurs while creating opportunities for alumni across generations to reconnect, support one another, and celebrate the spirit of the LSR community. It was a wonderful weekend of conversation, culture, and commerce, and one of the highlights of the ELSA calendar!
