Mira Gupta, an ELSA, has been passionately interested in knowledge, and particularly knowledge associated with craft, fashion, history, art and culture. This has helped her immensely in her work, which has been in the sphere of fashion/craft both as a curator as well as a designer.
She has had working stints with Fabindia, Good Earth, Jaypore and was one of the curators for the Swadesh Bazaar which accompanied the Ambani wedding. This was to showcase the best of Indian craft to guests like Jeff Bezos, Hillary Clinton and Jeff Koons.
